The Black Lantern Hour

Every curse collects.

Original Gothic horror, narrated in the dark. The Black Lantern Hour draws on dark folklore and forgotten bargains to tell one truth: every curse is a debt, and every debt comes due.

Tonight's Bill

A horror anthology, told one story at a time. No two nights are alike — the world underneath them is the same.

The World Beneath the Gaslight

Every story in The Black Lantern Hour belongs to the same world — a Providence-ordered dark where nothing happens by accident. The Order of the Witness has kept watch over it for longer than anyone living can say, and the curses it tracks are never random. They're collection. A man's choices come due, sooner or later, and something is always waiting to settle the account.

You'll meet the same names more than once — a werewolf carrying more guilt than fur, a vampire who was damned without a sire, a Scribe and a Knight who turn up wherever the debt gets called in. This isn't a monster-of-the-week show. It's one dark folklore, told from a dozen doorways.

Who's Telling This

The Black Lantern Hour is written and narrated by Butch Kliemann — though he'd rather you remember Elias Ward, Father Emeric, and the Order of the Witness than his name. The stories are the point. He's just the one holding the lantern.
